While i wait for a pink yarn for new charity baby blanket I started a new afghan today. These are my first granny squares for it. I decided to make a kind of African flower squares and different kind of a granny squares. African flowers in a different one-color way + a cream white colored border. The same apply for other grannies. Now i'm starting with a red yarn :-)
Starburst square but not Moogly's Starburst square.
The pattern is HERE
And here i stopped because my yellow yarn finished and i don't want to buy the new one. And now i'm staying and thinking which yarn color i can use to the end :) May be i can use that kind of dark blue yarn...
I'm thinking.
Besides of that i'm late completing the blanket - The Crochet Crowd's Mystery ended - my other charity project with Minions (you can snoop here) took me a little more time...
It took me a long time to get it done... :/ And now i don't know if am i happy... This makes me a little sad actually because the purpose of that afghan is noble. And i began this afghan with desire and soon i understand that i made a mistake with a single crochet - NEVER use only single crochet for entire afghan! This is absolutely unnecessary, the crochet is to much slow and your hand will start hurting you soon. I hope that the new owner will like that afghan and its money will be useful.
