Two crochet blankets are in the queue

My husband was kind enough to help mo look through the dosens blanket images. His chose were those 2 crochet blankets. 

I tried to make him reconsider, but he was adamant. Althought i like them they are easy to crochet and i wanted somthing hard for me :)

Tomorrow i'm flying to Bulgaria where i'll check for suitable yarn as there are some really nice Alize ones.

And my son Kamal chose 3D crochet blanket to hang it on the wall next to the bed. He likes blue - dark blue - white pallete.

I can't wait :)

Some #granny squares, #slippers and a chicken #amigurumi for Alwa

I didn't crochet granny squares from a long ago. And these days i join a Swedish group to make a blanket for a little girl - Alwa and her 2-nd birthday. Every crocheter in this group crochet and send  some granny squares to Alwa's grandmother. This woman prefers rose, green and white colors/

These grannies here are my contribution. 

 I crochet this slippers for a present for Alwa:

Аnd this is my ready to send box :) I added a little chicken amiguumi too :)

Blue Starburst Granny Pillow

От две започнати и оказа се, невъзможно в скоро време да бъдат завършени одеялца, набързи сглобих тази декоративна възглавница.

Любимия ми цвят е синият и затова най-напред започнах със Solstice Sun Rising от Moogly CAL - вижте повече тук. 

Квадратът е с много интересен център - кръгът не се плете отвътре навън, както обикновено.

Съединих с изплетените от мен квадрати с любимите ми Ripple stitches. 

Но остана място за един квадрат! и като нямаше син?! 

Гледах, чудих се и накрая взех Тhe Starburst Square.

Обратната част на възглавницата:

Бабино квадратче без отделни ъгли/ Chainless Crochet Solid Granny Square

Чудех се как на Български се нарича подобно квадратче - бабино - ок, ама без верижка на ъглите...? :) Затова и такова е заглавието.
Плетейки одеялцето с кръгове, африкански цветя и обикновени квадрати, сменям често модела на самите солидни квадрати. Искам да споделя отделно само този вид - без дупки по ъглите.
Според мен едно одеялце трябва да има по-малко на брой дупки :)
В крайна сметка моделите на квадратите ми не са малко - повтарящите са само няколко обикновени квадрата.
А ето и това без-ъглово квадратче:

Сравнено с едно обикновено солидно квадратче

Това си стои на мястото за блокиране - снимах го, защото казах,
че предпочитам с по-малко дупки за одеяло, но решението
ми за повече модели солидни квадратчета, ме накара да правя
какви ли не форми из тях - не че не са хубави :)

More squares, colors and shapes

After the beginning of the new blanket, number of squares, colors and shapes has increased.
I include circles too. 

The Charity Granny Square Tunisian Throw is done :)

Me and 3 other ladies from a Facebook group, called "Tunisian crochet in Bulgaria", made that throw for a charity.

That Tunisian Blanket consist of squares with different colors and different Tunisian stitches. 

You can notice:

- Tunisian Rib Stitch

- Tunisian Knit stitch

- Tunisian Pearls Stitch

- Modifying Lace stitch

- Popcorn stitch

- Honey stitch 

- X-stitch 

Тhe board is very nice because is made from the same colors as the squares.

And now the blanket is very cool and  fresh.

The afghan size is 100/130 sm. The yarn is Alize Cotton Gold. 

I was the project supervisor and i fitted the squares together and crochet the edging.

1, At the same time but independently one of another, the both my sons gave me a beautiful tulip each.

2. I present you these sweet candy balls of yarn (45% cotton + 55% pak - Yarn Art's Jeens) for a new charity baby blanket.

3. Slowly but gloriously my other blanket grows :)

My first granny squares for the new #blanket

While i wait for a pink yarn for new charity baby blanket I started a new afghan today. These are my first granny squares for it. I decided to make a kind of African flower squares and different kind of a granny squares. African flowers in a different one-color way + a cream white colored border. The same apply for other grannies. 
Now i'm starting with a red yarn :-)

And here i stopped because my yellow yarn finished and i don't want to buy the new one. And now i'm staying and thinking which yarn color i can use to the end :) May be i can use that kind of dark blue yarn...

I'm thinking.

Besides of that i'm late completing the blanket - The Crochet Crowd's Mystery ended - my other charity project with Minions (you can snoop here) took me a little more time...

But this is no matter of course :)

The 2015 Moogly #Afghan #CAL: Block #6 - Solstice Sun Rising

I just finished my block #6 of The 2015 Moogly Afghan Crochet-Along.

Original pattern is named Solstice Sun Rising and has an interesting center.

I crocheted an original center and then modified it and used the second one about my block #6:
